Sunderland to beat Wycombe @ 57/100
The Black Cats secured an eighth straight win in all competitions when prevailing 1-0 at Morecambe in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday. That hot streak includes five victories in League One, helping to push Sunderland up to second in the table, while they are unbeaten at the Stadium of Light in this division. Wycombe are down in 15th after struggling on the road recently, so this is an easy option for our football accumulator tips.
Luton to beat Plymouth @ 1/2
Town have been strong at Kenilworth Road in League Two, securing six wins and a couple of draws in eight fixtures at this venue, netting a division-high 18 home goals in the process. There was also a 2-0 triumph over Wycombe in the FA Cup here last weekend. Plymouth have recovered well from a nightmare start to the campaign, but this looks a tough test for Derek Adams and the Pilgrims on current form.
Peterborough to beat Bradford @ 13/20
David Hopkin has lost 11 of his 15 games in charge of the Bantams and City are sat at the foot of the League Two table. Third-placed Peterborough have come out on top in five of their last seven matches in all competitions and are the division’s leading scorers. Striker Marc Godden has proved a shrewd acquisition and took his tally for the club to 14 goals in 20 appearances after a brace at Bromley in the FA Cup.
MK Dons to beat Macclesfield @ 33/100
The Silkmen have lost their last three League Two fixtures by an aggregate score of 10-1 to leave them four points adrift at the bottom. MK Dons are flying high in second after picking up 19 points out of a possible 21 since the start of October. Former Arsenal trainee Chuks Aneke has caught the eye up front, with nine goals in 13 appearances this season, while Kieran Agard and Rhys Healey are also in form going forward.
Grimsby to beat Crawley @ 8/5
We’re going for a bit of value by siding with the Mariners in our football accumulator tips. Michael Jolley’s men are towards the wrong end of the table but have shown some more encouraging signs when playing at Blundell Park of late. Grimsby have claimed seven points from the last three League Two matches here against decent opposition and came from behind to beat MK Dons 3-1 in the FA Cup last Saturday.
